5e. Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) :
HVAC (pronounced either "H-V-A-C”) is an acronym that stands for the closely related functions of
"Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning"- the technology of indoor or automotive environmental
comfort.
FATC ECU is the important ECU of the vehicle as far as ventilating and cooling features are con-
cerned. Through HVAC ECU various activities such as input/output control, Read/Clear DTC’s can
be performed.
Salient Feature :
Following services are provided by the Diagnostic Tester application:
1. Read ECU Identification data, Manufacturing Information
2. Reading and clearing DTC’s
3. Read DTC’s
4. Input output parameters
Read ECU Identification :
Read the identification data in the ECU such as ECU Supplier part no., ECU Hardware no., ECU
hardware version no., ECU Software version no. ECU Supplier parts no etc. as showing below screen.

Read ECU Parameter :
One Shot Reading of ECU data is possible with this service. This will display real time status of
parameters.
