5h.Immobilizer (IMMO)

The Immobilizer is used for the security of vehicle. Immobilizer communicate with EMS ECU over the

CAN and after the successful authentication only engine can be started. Through Immobilizer various

activities such as Pairing and Key Learning can be performed in the vehicle.

The tester application executes all the commands supported by Immobilizer, which helps in diagnosis

of Immobilizer.

1. ECU Identification Data

2. Read DTC

3. Write Data

4. Locking, Key Routines

5. Pair with EMS ECU

Read DTC’s

The service reads the Diagnostic Trouble codes (DTC’s) recorded in the ECU. Causes and

remedies for individual DTC can be viewed by clicking the

“Causes and Remedies”

button. These

DTC’s can be saved in excel format for future reference.
