DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE TOOLS

The diagnostic software tool set is comprised of following items :

Vehicle Communication Interface - The VCI is electronic device which connects the vehicle to PC/

laptop through OBD cable for communication. The Compatible protocols are required for two way

communication.

OBD cable and USB cable

PC/Laptop

Below, vehicle communication interface (VCI) details provide with part numbers to place the order to

spare part division. This device is required to communicate with electronic control unit of vehicle.

Samtec Configuration

Samtec device if chosen for the using the toll, following are the steps to be followed to configure the

Samtec device with the desktop / laptop.

For using Samtec device for communication, ensure that SetupSamDiaX.exe (refer 1.2) is been

installed.

Connect the Samtec device between the desktop / laptop and the vehicle.
