ECU RE-PROGRAMMING TOOL & PROCEDURE

The ECU Reprogramming application allows authorized TML service professional to update ECU

software without removing the ECU from vehicle.

Please note that there are inbuilt security checks performed by the ECU during the reprogramming

process. So the specified reprogramming procedure must be followed carefully.

TML Reprogramming software is required to be installed through

or login to

ed.tatamotors.com

for downloading the software (Refer the Service Circular SI63313DZ for more details).

•

Connect the OBD cable to the Data link connector

(DLC)

through Samtec interface to vehicle &

laptop for communication

(Note: - Reprogramming of the ECU is possible only with Samtec

Interface).

•

Click on the Software icon and for windows 7 users

“Run program as an administrator”.

•

At the time of selecting calibration file, ensure that correct file is selected before click on

“START

FLASHING”

option.
